Profile of graduates

Using ethically and responsibly, appropriate methods for the collection of information and analysis of needs that lead to the understanding of a phenomenon, in order to propose and communicate alternative solutions that promote the welfare of people and / or institutions, to guide decision making. It implies the development of a personal critical attitude and the ability to expose their work to the critical judgment of others.

Based on the diagnosis of the identified problem, it intervenes: it elaborates and implements a relevant action plan (objectives, procedures, selection of techniques and instruments and an evaluation plan) for the chosen alternative solution. This plan must be oriented to the development and/or recovery of personal, institutional or community well-being and creativity. In the intervention proposal, a promotion or prevention approach will be applied in its different modalities. In addition, psychological, social and environmental impacts will be considered for a responsible action. All of the above implies the development of a personal critical attitude and the ability to expose their work to the critical judgment of others.

implements a plan to evaluate and/or measure the efficacy, efficiency, effectiveness and ethics of the intervention, considering criteria and indicators of achievement in the process, as well as in the product and impact. Identifies strengths and weaknesses to improve future interventions. It is governed by the principles of the ethics of the profession.

Taking into account the state of the art of the research lines of the discipline and the national reality, with epistemological coherence. It pertinently applies the scientific method and research tools to solve the problem posed and seeks to expand knowledge in a critical, reflective and creative manner. In addition, it incorporates the criteria of ethics in research and considers the psychological, social and environmental impacts for a responsible action. All of the above implies the ability to expose their work to the judgment of others.
